ABOUT AXE BULLETS

Axe Bullets was engineered by an African hunter with the goal of developing an affordable and accessible world-class bullet that outperforms most of the stagnant established global brands.

For ethical hunters the goal is to kill cleanly and as quickly as possible the AXE Bullet is designed to reliably expand retain weight and penetrate deeply most often creating an exit wound; this means quicker blood loss resulting in a quick drop in blood pressure and blood supply to the brain. Also creating a good blood trail easy to follow in the field.

Why does accurate ballistic and terminal performance count?

The goal of successful long-range accuracy is to ensure that the bullet to stays above supersonic speed for a longer time. When the bullet speed slows down, the transonic airflow and other variables start to get unstable.

At transonic speed the Bernoulli Principle has a bigger effect on the bullet and influences the accuracy of the bullet’s flight.

Consistency of controllable variables equates to accuracy. The more consistently a bullet performs, the easier it is to achieve accuracy.

Importantly, when a bullet is turned on a quality CNC lathe your result is a more consistent end-product. This means that you can control the dimensional and weight tolerances to a very high level. As a result, CNC-turned bullets always have an identical center of gravity that is a result of concentricity.
